Swype is cool

I installed Swype Beta for Android yesterday. I always ‘fat finger’ things on the tiny keyboard, so swiping was definitely more appealing. And the best thing is? It works very well. It’s extremely accurate and learns new words very quickly. I had to teach it ‘bunghole’ for example. Swype is so awesome. I recommend getting in on the action as it’s only going to be available for “a few days.” Just register and they’ll email you a download link, which you have to click from your Droid phone.

I think Apple makes some very cool products, but I can’t see myself buying any of them in the foreseeable future. The fact that they refuse to support Flash is reason enough for me to avoid the iPad. That said, iPad Peek is a website that allows you to see what web pages will look like on the iPad screen. Click Image to View Larger.
