We tried the new Cabo Wabo Rock ‘N Ritas at Chevys Fresh Mex last weekend. They were pretty good. Mine was rimmed (huh huh) with watermelon sugar. So yum.

A wine label showing a nude nymph is too much for Alabama’s liquor control agency, which has told restaurants and stores not to sell the product.
The label on Cycles Gladiator wine, produced by Hahn Family Wines in Soledad, Calif., shows a vintage 1895 advertising poster for Cycles Gladiator bicycles. The French poster features a nude nymph flying beside a winged bicycle.
Oh well, more for everyone else, I guess.

He told us that he recently sold his share and is now spending most of his time at The Volcano Grill, his restaurant in Carmel Valley Village. My pictures aren’t so great (I’m blaming the extremely low light. And maybe the Kryptonite), but here they are!

Hahn Merlot
When I was at a local restaurant awhile back, I noticed that they had mini bottles of Hahn Merlot. The Hahn Vineyards are where I found the beautiful autumn foliage, and I’d been wanting to try their wine. It sucked*, heh.
*Update: I have since come to the realization that I just plain hate Merlot. Gimme a nice Cab any day!
